Follow Him All My Days - Steve Litchfield
The sky began to darken and the wind began to roar
And suddenly we realised we could no longer see the shore
The rain swept all about the boat as the lightning split the sky
Despite my trust in Him I knew I was still afraid to die
Our Master is still sleeping, someone cried from the bow
And the storm it went from bad to worse and I just couldn't see how
He could lie there untroubled while the boat was battered to death
The thunder tearing the clouds apart and the pounding in my chest
I ran to where Jesus lay and woke Him with a touch
Oh ye of little faith, He said, Did you need me so very
much?
And standing up to face the storm, He slowly raised His hands
He cried out to the rain and wind and the elements turned and ran
The elements turned and ran, the elements turned and ran
The elements turned and ran
The thunder fled before the Son of God, the wind calmed by His gaze
The waves subsided and the sky grew light and I was so amazed
Who is this man who controls the storm and who the sea obeys?
And right then I decided I would follow Him all my days
I would follow Him all my days, I would follow Him all my days
I would follow Him all my days
